Visit Us

Pre-arranged visitors are always welcome at Bawtry Lodge. If you would like to attend a meeting, please email the lodge secretary to let him know and to arrange your Festive Board meal.

When we meet

The lodge meets on the first Tuesday of each month from September to April, and the second Tuesday in May. We do not meet during the summer months of June, July, or August.

Where to find us

Bawtry Masonic Hall
Tickhill Road, Bawtry
Doncaster, DN10 6LH

The hall sits on the south side of Tickhill Road. Free on-street parking is available immediately outside and along nearby roads.

What to wear

Traditional morning wear, or a dark lounge suit with black shoes, is the appropriate dress. Shirts must have a plain white collar; if the shirt is not completely white, it should be of a restrained pattern or hue.

Ties should be plain black, or an approved Masonic tie. Acceptable options include the Yorkshire, West Riding Provincial tie and UGLE-approved ties such as the One Journey tie sold at Freemasons' Hall.

Masons should bring their regalia; visitors will be looked after on arrival.

What to expect

You will be greeted by the Director of Ceremonies or the Tyler, asked to sign the visitors' book, and shown to the temple. After the meeting we share a meal as a Lodge, and pre-arranged visitors are always welcome to join us at the Festive Board.
